Service work at 60K

It will vary upon which engine you have, either the Vulcan or Duratec, It also depends on the type of driving you do, such as Highway or Town. why not call your local dealer and ask, there is no obligation to take it there.

Hope this helps

The 60k is a tune up for the SHO. It requires adjusting the valve lash and changing the timing belt. Many people replace much more so they will not have to tear into the motor for awhile.

Services that I would recommend would be:

Tranny Flush and filter change
Oil Change
Coolant Flush
Clean Throttle Body
Clean Fuel Injectors
PCV Valve
Fuel Filter
Brake inspection

Hope this is what you were inquiring about

the timing belt is only for the SHO. the same goes for a 60K. its a SHO procedure. all other taurus engines use a timing chain.
