Thanks!

The only real modification you'll need to do is drill a couple holes (between the shifter & e-brake) to hold the console down. I went one step further & fabricated an "L" shaped bracket to secure the armrest to the floor, but this isn't really neccessary. The armrest fits snug between the front seats.

You'll also have to drill some holes to attach the front part of the console (where the cup-holder/ash tray are) to the stock Civic radio-surround.

im really not that stupid and i didn't mean that he would be welding it on. i was just giving him some credit, commenting on what he does and also saying that he is pretty good with his hands and that if anything needs to be fabricated that he would be the man to do it....
im not very handy in that area. if it doesn't fit right in then im not the person for the job. i can turn a wrench but i cant modify something like he does.

i know you all were not stating i was stupid i just had to make that clear.

i will let you all know how it goes and maybe post some pix. our junkyard out here has tons of these things so if anyone needs one let me know..... they want $75 for them but i am sure it would be a little more for it to be shipped....

Hmm....you'll have to let me know if you see a nice medium grey one. I still haven't had anyone tell me if I can put in a Teg console in my 4-door with the seat belt things in between the seats, but I am willing to try it. If it doesn't fit, I am sure I can sell it to one of you peeps
Oh yeah - and welcome Liz
