My turbo

Here is a prototype of my small turbo. The diameter is about 6.5 mm, but it might shrunk a bit when cast with resin.

And here is a typical application.
Please ignore the air filter, which shouldn't be there, and unfinished exhaust header. Man, it's really tight.

My commissioned work is delaying some of my projects, but I made a little progress on the ITR turbo kit. It's not a heavy duty turbo, so I made a small intercooler core, and made the core and pipes visible from the opening.
It was inspired by a Lan Evo, I saw the other day.
Right now, I'm waiting for putty to cure, and I'll file and sand it to the right shape.

Resin is basicly a plastic substitute. It comes as a liquid and is poured into a mold to dry. Most aftermarket parts from private sellers (take chris for example with SAS) use resin to make their parts.

I guess others should be able to tell you more.

Your turbo looks fantastic! One thing on your intercooler, from your pic it seems as if the tubes and fins are going vertically, but your end tanks are left to right. The tubes on intercoolers always run inline with the end tanks. So for your end tanks and pipes as it appears in the pictures the tubes should run left to right. It could just be the pictures.
