You have a "Korn" quote in your sig.

QOTSA is just pure hard rock and roll, lots of loud drums and loud guitars.
Its possibly a bit to pure and hard for more comercialsed tastes, but I fuckin love it!
It's a nice break from all the whinny teenage pop rock shit that is so popular at the moment.

And you can tell they had a shit load of fun when they made thier latest album, its music to listen to and enjoy, not to take seriously.

I'm just soo sick of hearing QOTSA songs and Foo Fighters songs on the radio. It really is putting me off of these groups.

Yes I do like some of their stuff, I have QOTSA first album and the foo fighters first album but the new stuff has become too annoying now

I have to agree with you there.
I would probobly have bought a foo fighters album sometime ago, but they are simply thrashed to death far to much, and its one reason why I dont own a single one. They are also a little to poppy for my taste.

And QOTSA aren't quite good enough to thrash to death, but thats not what I was looking for. Pink Floyd I can listen to infinitly, and not get bored of it, but its nice to have something simple and hard to put on as a contrast.

Its good mindless bogan rock! :ylsuper :ylsuper :ylsuper :ylsuper

They rule

Dave Grohl belongs on the drums.

Foo Fighters were good on their first and The Colour and the Shape (anyone noticed that they actually spelled "Colour" with a "u?" Surprising from a US band...), but the new stuff is way overplayed. My Hero was played to death as well, but Everlong and Monkey Wrench are too good to excuse the album

well I like QOTSA song on the radio and the foo fighters one. but I don't think I'm going to buy the album.

I'll stick with my bands, Blindspott, Korn, Disturbed, Gravity Kills, American Headcharge, Saliva, Limp Bizkit, Rob Zombie, Nickleback, Incubus, Drowning Pool, Taproot and the list goes on.

Commercialised is such a bullshit word these days. Listen to whatever music you like, who cares what anyone else thinks.

Millionaire was their best song so far. No One Knows got a bit overplayed. a couple of weeks ago, the top 5 spots of the top ten countdown on the local rock radio station read something like this:
1.) Queens Of The Stone Age - No One Knows,
2.) Foo Fighters - All My Life,
3.)Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Zephyr Song,
4.) Nirvana - You Know You're Right,
5.) The Hives - Hate To Say I Told You So.

Dave Grohl had 3 bands in the top 5. the man must sleep on a pile of money with many gorgeous women. lucky bastard...

I had that song stuck in my head for a damn week and could NOT get it out. Now, everytime I hear it, it pisses me off. Not to mention IMO, the RHCP have gotten a little bit more mello, but that's just me.
