AEM Short Ram intake

Yo fellas, I'm new to doing ish to my car, and I purchased an AEM Short Ram for my 03 *whispers* automatic Honda Civic. How hard is it going to be, and do you guys have any documentation about it? I'd like to read up a little bit before... thanks

Short ram intakes are very easy to install, just remove your stock piping. It comes off by just pulling it out of the rubber parts that hold it on. And then replace it with the aem intake. You'll see on your stock piping a tube running from the intake piping into your valve cover, make sure you put that tube on your new intake also.

nope, no tools at all. The plastic piping is just held on by little rubber garmets (I think that's what it's called). But I'll take some pictures for you tonight to show you better, my batteries are charging right now.

edit-you will need a screwdriver to put on the new intake. To clamp it onto the rubber which goes onto your throttle body.

My camera is being stupid so I just got some old pics from my accord.
I'm pretty sure your 03 civic is different than my accord, so just use your imagination.
Take off everything that has to do with the intake piping

When you get your intake you should get
-intake pipe
-air filter
-rubber piece that goes from the intake pipe to the throttle body
-rubber hose
In this pic you'll the everything I listed above, the rubber piece and rubber hose are yellow. The only tool that you will need for installing this is probably a philip's screwdriver. I have two clamps on my intake. One clamp holds the rubber piece to the intake piping, and one clamp holds the other side of the rubber piece to the throttle body. Here's a pic

And then the rubber hose goes from an outlet in your intake piping into your valve cover. Below you will see the stock black hose that was on my stock intake and the yellow tube that replaces the black one. So take off the black one, and put your new hose right where the black one is.

There's clamps on that hose on my car for that hose, so I just used the stock clamps for my new hose. Hope that helps ya out.
