Top Dead Center Sensor if its the same as an Accord. I have the same problem. I cannot figure out anything about this stupid sensor. Good luck and let me know what you find out.

well the TDCS means that the distributor is not firing at the correct point to meet the cylinders to ignite the burn correctly.

on my crx i had to remove the distributor, set tyhe #1 cyl to TDC then reinstall the dizzy, and check the timing, how it got out of whack so bad when driving is beyond me, but maybe 8 flashes on ur ecu(depends on which one u use) could be a different sensor all together.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but Do you suggest I do that to my Accord? It started when I had to replace my whole distributor. Could it just be a bad sensor? Where exactly is this sensor located? Oh yeah, it doesnt' happen all the time. Sometimes it'll go away for a while then come back all of the sudden. Like when I'm drivin down the highway the car will jerk and the light will come on. Other times it will come on when the car starts. Its weird.

Damn, I knew I should have asked that question here a long time ago. The 4th gen guys (and gals) always have the answers! :ylsuper

the TDC sensor is located inside the dizzy assembly, honda says not to attempt to service the part.
