Indiglow Gauge

Sup GB. I just bought a gauge set from procarparts, they should arrive tomorrow. Very excited! I might need some help from you though. I will keep you posted, I will try to have them installed before new years.

You said it takes roughly 2-3 hours, right?!

hey man,

It should take you 2-3 hours max. It depends on a couple of things.

If you can slide the gauges over the needles without denting the or ruining the edges of the gauges, that will help.
If you do a really good job of taping them down.... that will help a ton, in fact that might prevent you from having to sand down the underside of the counter-weights.

let me know if you need a tip or two. Always happy to help.

Boy do i miss my car!!! It is in my parents garage for the winter. I am driving a 1990 Olds 88 Royale for the winter. Poor me! Oh well, I just keep telling myself it is the smart thing to do.

Good luck!

Keep me posted!

I just got them today, I will try to get them installed tomorrow morning.

Don't feel so bad about driving old cars for the winter. My commutes are roughly 85 - 100 miles a day, so for my commuter I drive a 93' Nissan P/U. It's got rims tho.

I will also try B15sentra.net

Dude, GB. I installed them last night around midnight, it is off the freakin hook. I love it. It was definitely worth the money. I didn' know it had six different shades till I had already finished the install and played with the control.

Thanx, I think this is one of the best installs I've done so far.

It's raining pretty hard here in the yay area! I will post some picts when the rain stops for anyone else that might be interested.

But definitely worth the bling!

sweet!

Silver... Glad to hear that you got them in. Do they stick at all? Did you have to sand, or not?

I mounted the little shade and brightness controller just under the tilt wheel lever. There is a perfect little cutout there, and you can't really see it unless you look. It is very clean there.

Get some pics up when you get the chance.

Talk to you later!
GB

Well, I didn't have a chance to take pictures as I proceeded with the install (I know I should have). Nothing sticks and no sanding was necessary. I just let the control hang along side of the steering wheel adjust lever, I will take a look at that spot you mentioned. Everything is great so far. The only problem is chosing the right shade??!! Everything was smooth with the install. The process took a little less than 2 hours.

I will post some pictures later.

GTI, dude I live here in U.C and it's been raining on and off. It's pissing me off. Can't keep my damn car clean. To answer your question; I personally love driving my Spec. I enjoy working on it and the forums are awsome. The car dose have good power and plenty of upgrades available. You can also get help from great and experienced people in many forums that also own Spec-V's.

Those look almost identical to the SE gauges, except for the indiglo at night. They look awesome, congrats

Hey GB I finally got these damn picts posted. Are they just like yours?

I realized they were different from the NissanPerformance site after I had already installed them. I originally wanted the ones from the Nissan site but these I like just the same.

TiTANSER69, if you can get hook ups, post the price and your contact info for people that might be interested.
