Hawk scores 2 (!!!!!) 1/12 scale `67 Vette`s. Help me with color choice.

Yes I managed to find 2 `67 427 Corvette`s in 1/12 scale. What`s best, they were both under $25 usa!!!!!! Anyway, the kit comes witha set of black and a set of white "stinger stripes. So what color combinations do you`s think would be good? I was thinking a maroon with black stripes and a yellow with black stripes. One will have rallye wheels like on my 1/12 camaro (below), and the other will have the stock turbine wheels. What does everyone think?

I like deep yellow. I'm building '94 C4 ZR-1 in deep yellow now.

I think that would be really cool. Black is the best color if it`s rubbed out right IMO. But I thought my arm was going to fall off after rubbing out the Camaro. It`s alot of area! Unfortunately, the big kit doesnt come with the red and blue decals the 1/25 kit comes with.

I am considering this! Now I`m more confused. Maybe I`ll try to find a third one.

what kind of yellow are you planning?

In that year, I think the yellow was sorta a pale yellow, like the new anniversary trans ams with the black and silver stripes. I think the new Mustangs have a similar color. It almost looks like a pastel color yellow. I saw a picture somewhere. Maybe I`ll see if I can dig it up.
