Comments on Tamiya finishing abrasives?

Are these any good?

Is the abrasive number the same rating used by the other brands?

I don't think tamiya makes anything that's bad. :flash:

Although, there are cheaper alternatives like 3m imperial wetordry, which you can get at auto stores for around 3 bucks for a pack of 3.

There's a store in town that is selling a pack of 6 Tamiya abrasives with 3 different gradients (2 sheets each) for about CAD$7. (If I remember correctly). From your reply that doesn't sound too bad.

Just wanted to know if anyone's tried it and if it's worth it to get.

Can I use the P1500 or P2000 to remove orange peel?
