I here you guys. I am happy that my company is so busy, and that I am inundated with work, but dammit, the timing could certainly be better. This is already shaping up to be quite a cold winter (in Connecticut for example, it has been something like 25 years (well, at least in Hartford) since we have had snow before Thanksgiving), and looks like I am going to be spending an awful lot of time outside in it doing field work.

Friday alone, for example, I spent about 4 hours with a metal detector, just looking for monitoring wells that were covered by snowfall. Hopefully I won't have too many days that are complicated by a freeze-thaw condition, where after locating the wells you have to take another chunk of time just to chip them out of the ice Yep, it's gonna be a rough winter.

Although I will say that anything between snow-snow and water is just GROSS. Like when it gets all cucky and stuff... Ewwwww.
