don't have pic
Sorry

It all depends. Traction is a major issue. But I've seen a SVSI viper with well over 1000 HP. It was more like 1100Hp and 1200 Torque. But even with drag slicks, the traction is a problem. :evillaugh

that's why you put some massive tires on it, somethin like a 755/20/R24 would be hair raising, or more like front end raising

Are you serious?
I thought those types of tires were only available for hummers or military vehicles!
except, it would be a bit thicker, not 20...

hehehe, um....i was just kiddin bout that but actually 20 would be quite a thick sidewall

755 mm wide, compared to the stock vipers 335
20% of 755 is 151 mm which is somewhere around 6 inches so actually that's plenty big for the sidewall, so go with like a 10 percent aspect ratio, and a 24 inch rim would make somewhere around like a, well pretty damn big tire, wide as hell too, so with that the 800TT/1000TT and the SVS TT would be runnin like 7.5 1/4's almost, maybe. hell at that go with a 5 percent aspect ratio and you'd have a 1 and a half thick inch sidewall, but when they are that wide, they'd be just plain ugly as far as they'd stick out, no body kit could make them look good, unless you were somehow able to shorten up the halfshafts, well screw that, them things will just twist as Viper 10 has said. so just go to a solid rear axle and make it narrow enough so that them 755 wouldn't stick out,...hmmm.....i should stop thinkin about now or i'll be goin on and on and on

Viper engines can handle extreme amounts of horse power, there are nitruos systems that add 350hp and torque to a stock viper, SVSI, Doug Levin and Hennessey e.t.c all build 1000+++ rear-wheel horse power daily driven Vipers that have no reliability problems and run on pump gas.

Heres the newest and most powerful street viper in the works @ SVSI (also pictures of the Viper engines you wanted) Its the SVSI Rocket Sled Packadge, 1700 REAR WHEEL HORSE POWER AND TORQUE!!!!!!

Hennessy 800TT, looks quite basic compared to Doug Levin's.

I do have respect for Hennessy for his knowledge and work on cars, but I lose all the respect for what a crook he is.

.

They might as well make a stiff rear end for the Vipers with these packages. Thats just too much power to be playing around with independent suspension. 1700 hp, thats a drag racer not a track car.

Yea, very true. Instead of that quick change gear one that Viper10 has showed, I'd rather have them just have one where you could rip the normal suspension out and put the live axle in there. Maybe SVS should be doing that for drag racing applications, they should just do that with that 1700 hp monster.

Actully I would think that too, because what good is a 1700hp track car? But SVSI wants to have a street legal car go at least 300mph, which I hear is harder with a solid axle because of heat and relase problems.
Anyway 1700hp has to be insane, on viperclub.org, a guy has a yellow rt-10 thats Doug Levin Supercharged putting out 1001hp and he can smoke his tires at 120-140 in 4th gear! This car would certainly take some getting used to driving. Im looking for a high horse power packadge for my 99, I was set on Hennessey's Venom 1000, but with all the recent heat, im fearing this packadge could be the one. I wonder if SVSI can work in a nitrous/propane deal, 2100hp would be nice

While were at it here's the pics of the 1700hp beast.
Can anyone guess what size turbos those are?
