Question tire wear

My driver side front tire has been wearing on the outer rim for a good while (almost since car was new). What kind of alignment adjustment or repair is needed?

your taking your right hand turns too fast and too much. rotate them more frequently. check tire pressure every 3 weeks.

Take your car to a good wheel alignment centre to get it set up correctly.
Check the air pressure as well.

I had a similar problem, and it was caused by a slow punture in the tyre causing low pressure (about 1.5bar). Check the pressures are the same as those listed on the drivers door pillar (around 2.1bar I seem to remember).

Could be a number of things, wheel bearing, suspension bushes ball joint, or just the strut loose in it's mount. You need to get it up on stands and have someone wiggle it while you look for where the movement is originating.

It might well be the third link where the play is. IIRC, many P10s have unjustly failed warrant of fitness inspection due to excessive play in the third link (the arm which attaches from the body, in the wheel well, to partway up the strut), although the Nissan specs allow for up to 1/4" of play. I read this in a U.K. vehicle inspection authority bulletin somewhere but I'm having trouble finding it again.
