Help wanted.

WANTED: Fujimi EP3 Civic head light lenses


Hi guys,

I have a small favor to ask you AFers. I am thinking of starting a new project involving some larger scale modifications: converting a Lancer Evo 8 into a normal CS lancer (ES, Ralliart, 04-07) I still have to plan how I am going to make the taillights. My idea was first complete the body with the tail light areas left open, then fill it with putty and form the shape, take that chunk of putty out afterwards, and then heat form the tail light lenses using that putty chunk and a heat gun. I have yet to prove the feasibility of this method but I will practice using the heat gun to heat up clear styrene without burning it.

From comparing photos I find that the head lights from the EP3 Civic has a very close shape to the car I am trying to build. All it takes for their lenses to fit decently is cutting away a bottom part and smooth the top edge with a file. However, I do not have a pair of EP3 headlight lenses to work with.

What I am asking is does anyone here have an extra pair of Fujimi EP3 Civic-R front lenses they can kindly give away? The condition of them is not a huge matter, so any EP3's that had gone through some front end(headlight) damage, written-off from serious collisions(accidents, pets, siblings, etc) would be fine.
