DPFE Sensor Replacement 96 Grand Marquis
I have a 96 Grand Marquis with 94 K on it. I found I need to replace the DPFE sensor. I would like to know just how in the hell I disconnect the 2 hoses. Do I disconnect them from the EGR pipe or at the DPFE sensor itself ? There just is not enough room or hose length to disconnect it from the sensor at that location , or , is it better to disconnect the 2 hoses from the EGR pipe to remove the sensor along with the hoses ? Please help as I am already disabled and things are hard enough for me as it is. Thank all of you for your help & instructions. Dan from NJ.

Re: DPFE Sensor Replacement 96 Grand Marquis
I usually remove them from the egr tubes. Just makes it a lot easier to replace them also.
