'72 Chevelle SS
99% Complete.
Fred Cady decals on the bonnet/hood, Keith Marks decals on the boot/trunk! Still need to clear coat the hood. Will add engine pictures when heater hoses added, also waiting for some nice weather for outdoor pic's here in the UK!

That turned out fantastic! I just wish I could see it in person. You really did a superior job. Now, get the hoses in, and show off that motor!

This turned out awesome man! I love it. Really like the wheels choice and making them Black. Well done!! Love old school muscle with Normal wheels/tires.. so nice to see it not DUB'd out. Great job!!!

Make inner wing (fender) infill pieces before painting. I only realised after painting that these were needed! 6. It is worth considering using real wire rather than painting under hood cables etc, Probably quicker in the long run and a more convincing result would be achieved too. 7. The front grille assembly is extremely tricky to glue on after painting. I used superglue on the rear of the front bumper which was dangerous! (Only superglue was strong enough!) If possible it may be easier to glue on before painting and then mask off. Not sure if this would work when it comes to fitting the bodyshell though. 8. The rear bumper can be glued on ok with Micro Krystal clear. 9. The front bulkhead sits too far back in the body I think. 10. Remove the moulded in front fender reflectors before painting, they don't appear on the '72 Chevelle! 11. I got the car to sit lower by sanding the pieces on the top of the chassis front wheel wells and removing the raised pieces on the underside of the interior (then used Bluetack to adjust this!). I hope this helps, let me know if there is anything else that you discover or need advice with!
