Apparently, in New South Wales, Australia, it is legal to relieve yourself in public if you do it next to the rear left tyre. This goes back to the horse and buggy days when there was a part of the carriage used for such purposes.

It's illegal to relieve oneself on a Sunday while looking up. So does that go for any type of relief?
