Golf 3 VR6 (3 door) *Finished!*

I have done a 3 door conversion on a 5-door Golf from Fujimi.

Here's the Wip: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=664323

And here are the final pics:

Here's the list with things i've modded:

- Changed model to 3-doors
- Wired the engine
- Strut brace in engine room
- Lowered (wheels still steer and roll)
- Sport steering wheel
- Shaved emblems of the trunk
- Grille without emblems
- German licenseplates
- Headlights from MK4 Golf

I hope you like my Golf.

daYam, thats one clean conversion!!! can't beleive that was a 4 door before, this is one very, very well executed kit. Clean and the custom work you put into looks like it was meant to be. excellent job for sure, glad I clicked on this thread.

I love that build. Would love to see you do a Tamiya Golf 3-door conversion.

Yes there's a little bit orange peel, but it shows only that good on the pictures.

And I don't really think they are too big.

This Golf has about the same size rims:

Re: Golf 3 VR6 (3 door) *Finished!*

Like I said. "I Like this build." The wheels look good to me and nice engine detail. I asked you about the Tamiya version because I always thought of turning it to 3-door version from the Tamiya kit which also only comes in 4-door. After seing this nice Fujimi build, I want a Golf kit really bad now.
