Well, all I can say is... It is nice to see a positive article. They didn't portray the automotive enthusiasts as drugged out idiots or psychopathic road warriors.

Speaking of the negative views on auto enthusiasts... While waiting outside a restaurant for a table, I noticed a Yukon XL park and three "Senior citizens" get out. About an hour later when i left the restaurant, I noticed the truck was still idling... key in the ignition and doors unlocked. I had to run in and tell the old, oblivious man what he did. I just kept thinking to myself... "What if that engine had caught fire from idling for an hour?" "What if a 14-year-old went on a joyride in that 6000 pound truck?" So who are the "real" threats to public safety here?!?!

Peace:bandit:

DMC,

You remind me of something that happened in Washington a few years ago. Blonde, vivacious Mom leaves twin 4 year old boys in the Land Rover Discovery, running to boot, while she run inside a convenience store to get a pack of cigarettes.

Boys unbuckle themselves, put the thing in reverse somehow and it ends up parked ontop of a bus-stop bench. Thankfully no-one was killed.

I saw that on the news one night. Really humbling thought...maybe street racers aren't the problem; it's the everyday average Joe that's the problem...

The best thing in that article next to it being very positive about the tuner seen, was the reference to FLETCH! One of the greatest movies of all time!:licker:
