Maybe we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of immigration.

Go home for the holidays? I'm home most of the time. Christmas will consist of eating, drinking and hockey. I don't let the bad stuff about this time of year (the mad dash to buy everything for the kids) get to me. I have a good time.

Keep it on the positive side. No fun being a grinch a/b it all. Even if you dont like christmas look at it this way, with the holiday, you get off work/school. Isnt that good? or would you rather work? day off or work? thats a tough choice to make....

Actually its not a tough choice for me at all, since I will be sitting at home alone over x-mas. I would rather work, since I get paid double for working the stat holidays, and a small bonus for other shifts worked over the week of x-mas

Unfortionatly I havent been offered any shifts that week yet, so im sol.

Dont get me wrong, I would want to spend time with friends and family, except my family is going south for the holidays (same as last yr), and I cannot afford to go, and I dont feel right eating dinner at a friends place, since its sorta a family thing.

Last yr I worked x-mas eve and day. Made a ton of money, and bought my own gifts at boxing day sales with my Visa, and paid for it when my fat cheque came a week lator.
