Shortcuts arent for me

I think just about every shortcut i took in making my car run all backfired on me at the same time . 3 completely blown out fuel injectors, 4 lifters stuck beyond all reason, and a flywheel that isnt even worth regrinding.

My biggest problem is i dont know what the torque specs are for reassembling the flywheel and clutch kit. anybody know??

Re: Shortcuts arent for me

I could give you the torque settings for my car but since you don't bother mentioning what car yours is I can't say if they're applicable.

Why don't you start by including all the details when you ask your question.

Re: Shortcuts arent for me

general rule of thumb for all fasteners when torque specs are not available" tighten it til it breaks, back off half a turn"

Re: Shortcuts arent for me

I think i've done that one time too many. I consulted with a mech and he gave me a rough idea. Nice thought though.
