99 GM Indicator cable broke
Where can I get a replacement besides the dealer. The part of the cable that bolts to the side of the column that has the adjustment wheel broke. That part comes off so I dont need the whole cable. I dont want to buy the whole cable from the dealer just for that piece and I dont want to replace the whole cable cause I dont want to mess with the other end of it. Anyone know of a place besides the dealer???
Thanks!! |

Re: 99 GM Indicator cable broke
Check with a local salvage yard.

Re: 99 GM Indicator cable broke
Many local salvage yards in the bay area dont have recent Grand Marquis in it. The older ones yes but not mine. A salvage yard that they pull it for you wont go through all the trouble for a small cable.

Re: 99 GM Indicator cable broke
A lot of the little plastic parts are interchangable with othere. It would be a trial and error. I have about 10 in my supply, but I am not allowed to get rid of them. Govt. frowns upon things like that.
