My 2000 regal just recently started having problems. The front right headlight quit working and I changed the bulb and checked the fuses. I even took out the left bulb(known good) and installed it on the right side and it still will not work. All the wiring looks to be ok. Any ideas?

Re: 2000 regal front headlight doesnt work
Is that right side hi or lo beams or both?
Check fuse #32 which is for headlamp right only located at the engine compartment fuse box. If that is good then it sounds like a bad lamp socket/connector or wiring. You could check for 12 volts and a good ground with a DMM. If the multifunction switch (MFS) was bad then you would lose both sides in either low or high beams. And welcome to AF.

Re: 2000 regal front headlight doesnt work
Right side low beam only. I think the lamp socket is good because when I get under the hood and pull the fuse for the left headlight, both headlights come on but are very dim.
