I have a 1994 G20, with the "premium" 200w audio system - all I know is there are 2 40w amps and 2 Clarion speakers in the trunk which I like!
I have always been impressed by this stock system; however, my rear speakers are buzzing now. I checked them out, and there are visible tears in both of them around the edge. I would like to have a little more bass than I did, maybe better midrange, and clarity, accuracy, and excellent sound are extremely important to me (since I am a musician!)
I've read the posts about what a nightmare it is to get to the rear speakers and I am prepared to replace them. But I don't know which speakers to get! I've seen a lot of posts talking about Infinity Kappa speakers. I see the 2 most expensive 6.75" speakers listed for a 94 G20 are the Pioneer TS-A1795 and the Infinity Kappa 652.3i. Any recommendations?
Also, does anyone have a clear answer on a cheap way to ad a CD-changer? Should I get an Alpine 6-disc changer from infinitipart.net or a changer from infinitipartsusa.net and install it myself??
SORRY for all the questions, am I new to this stuff and will appreciate ANY help you guys can give me.
Thanks,
Andrew Kincaid
