1991 HB Rear Speaker Pod Question! Please Help.

Hey whats sup, I've got a 1991 DX HB which didn't come with the rear cargo cover or the pods to hold up the cover.

I just bought both the cover and the pods and now I'm trying to figure out how to cut out the little PLASTIC SQUARE out of the POD so I can put a speaker in there with out messing up the POD.

If anyone has had experience and knows any teqniques that you've used to cut the plastic square out w/o messing up the speaker POD.

Thanks.

Just cut out the bottom. Mine didn't come out to pretty cuz i rushed it. I used a big kitchen knife to hack away at it. but if u take your time i'm sure it will come out fine.

that is not the speaker bracket, that just holds up the cargo cover. the speaker bracket goes onto those little shelves and has a hole for the speaker.

What size speakers

Thanks for the replies.

I know that this is not the actual speaker pod that comes with the Si models. BUt anyone know whats the biggest speaker you could fit in there with out the actual POD.

could I at least get some 5 1/2 's in there?

How hard is it to find that speaker POD??

Thanks.

Pics of SI PODS?

Does anyone have any pics of what the SI speaker pods look like installed on top of the shelf that holds the cargo cover?

Has anyone ever installed speakers on the actual shelf w/o the SPEAKER Pod?
