2001 alternator ?
I've heard that only certain year alternators are interchangeable in the cvpi's. For example is it true that the 03 alternator will not work in earlier years? If that's the case an 02 alternator should be the same, correct? Thank you

The 03 will not fit anything older. The other ones can interchange fairly easily. The 98 to 02 are a direct interchange.
