Quick question about the Revell/Italeri Porsche 911 (993) kits
I'm currently looking for one of these to build and was wondering if the 2002 model was ever kitted? Also in any of these kits was the rear pop-up spoiler a separate part? allowing it to be positioned up or down on the finished model?
Thanks in advance for any info. This is for another Sally from Cars build...this time i'm going to build the actual car... Gray |

Re: Quick question about the Revell/Italeri Porsche 911 (993) kits
The 2002 model is the 996. It was kitted by Tamiya, but only the pre-facelift version and it has a positional rear spoiler. Its OOP, so you may have to look on eBay.

Re: Quick question about the Revell/Italeri Porsche 911 (993) kits
Both the Italeri/Revell 993 kits and the Tamiya 911 Carrera kits are rare.
The Italeri 996 kit (the 996 being the one you want) is easier to find and cheaper when it comes about. You can also just get a Tamiya GT3 kit as most of the parts for the Carrera kit are in there. Can't remember which bits are missing/different except the wheels are highly sought after.

I may have that porsche your looking for. The rear deck lid is incorrect to build Salley but it has the correct wheels.
