ignition key, major problem
Hey guys, my dad asked me to move my camaro out of his garage so i went to get the key, but it wasnt there! I've lost it or someone has stolen it. I have a 1980 camaro and it doesnt have the chip in the key. can a locksmith or someone get me a new one because that was the only one i had! Please help.

Re: ignition key, major problem
For the cost of a locksmith to cut a new key from code (that's presuming they can still get the code from GM archives) you could replace the lock cylinder with a new one - One that doesn't have 25 years of wear on it.
