Quastion: how do u keep the side of the car from being flat, like mine is.I hate that, its always flat!
HErE:
FRONT:http://s184.photobucket.com/albums/x...OAURORA002.jpg
BACK:http://s184.photobucket.com/albums/x...OAURORA001.jpg
FRONT:http://s184.photobucket.com/albums/x...XENOAURORA.jpg

in the first pic, the car is more modified in the front than the 3rd pic, im going to call the 2nd and 3rd picture v.1.0 and the first picture v1.1

Please criticize as much as possible about the design, the spelling and my skills

Re: Codenamed:Aurora

First off. Respectively speaking looks straight. Angles are nice. But I may be way off here, did u base it on the Galardo? Cause it looks like a Lambo to me.

I mean we dont have that whole rear engine thing goin on here but def lambo styling at least. And thats not a bad thing. I can see u've put some time into it. You also actually told us u did. Shading will help define the areas u want to be rounded or what ever. Im sure the others here will add much more. So keep it up. Dont be discouraged . For me it takes a few stabbs at it b4 I produce anything even resembling my intentions.

Re: Codenamed:Aurora

It does look like a lambo, i realy never noticed that...>>>>runaround
i put alot of into the design, but this is COMPLETLY diffrent than the one i had back then.
The only thing that dident change is the L style headlights, thats it.
I must have made over a 50 diffrent versions of a "CAR" with L headlights.
So i have only been working on this particular car for a week.
it needs work
i need work
How do u keep the side from looking right?
PS: GALLARDO IS MY FUTURE CAR.HEHEHEHE, hopefuly

that's why I say draw the same thing until you get it right.
A little perspective.

My final year project in Architecture.
I went through maybe 20-30 sketches of forms and details/themes before settling on a single universal concept.
After that, it went through maybe another 10-15 variations that differed depending on the elements of the site that i applied my design process to.
After that, I modeled the best 5. These conceptual models to test masses, and relationships of the volumes.
Of these, I took the best ones and modeled a stage further to introduce the idea of detailed elements.
That left me with one (I had to choose just one) to take as Final design to go back three steps to draw up and actually make into a building.

Then it was all about spaces, masses, voids, circulation, organisation etc etc.
That went through a similar process as mentioned previously.

After 50 odd versions of the same thing, I ended up with 1.
In other words, my final project, the thing that prospective employers see is only at most 4% of the work done.

In short, don't expect that when doing a design project, your first attempt will be the final thing.
