Opinions Wanted

Need some help here from all you people that see these trucks where you live. We dont get them in NZ so i'm wondering what sort of look most people go for when they own one.
First pic is what it would probably look like in NZ. People here would stick bigger 4X4 tyres on.
The second pic is of the low profile rubber, big rims which IMO dont really suit it to well (these wont be the rims i use in the pic, just using them as a guide line....Will use the ones that come in he kit.)
Or a third idea is these big 20"(?) that people have talked about....which will mean lowering etc.
Your opinions are needed
Personally i quite like the #1 look as thats what it would look like here.
Anybody have a good site that has these huge wheels if i order some??

IMO P-Man go with the Kranze's or something similar. the F-150 Lightning, while it may look like a rough and tumble truck, is actually a wolf in sheeps clothing. it packs something like 390hp under the hood, and is the world's fastest production pick-up (correct me if i'm wrong). so i dunno if it would like right raised up on off road tires.

The 00+ lightnings are arguably the quickest production trucks in the world. SOME ppl will say that a syclone will beat one in the 1/4 mile (not 0-60) I personally have seen more consistant quicker times for the lightnings though.

IMO, the Lightning, on stock rims, with a slight lowering and stock ford flareside tailights (not altezzas, which are stock now on the lightning) and rollpan is the best form for the current F-150. Don't go with 20" wheels, they only look good on show trucks. The 18s look much nicer, just like I think the 16" rims look nicest on my real truck. Try to make this truck look fast, not flashy

19"

Big all the way. You gotta go with the biggiest widest rims in your stock.
Where I live they ride trucks like that with big rims..20" and up!

I think you should put the biggest rims because it looks weird with small rims.

I think a big offroader would stand out quite well in your collection of mainly lowered streetcars. Instead of trying a lowering job, you could try a higher job..... I'd look for some bigger offroad tires then those puncy little ones you have in pic1, I'm talking like 33" Super Swampers. Try some of these tires on for size, I think it would look good. You could make a Bigfoot replica! http://www.revell-monogram.com/store...Id=0&x=26&y=14 or the whole suspension from this http://www.revell-monogram.com/store...1&FromSearch=1

IMHO go with stock or the Kranzes most performance trucks do not have big wheels and they dont make a good set that looks good on a lightning if you can find a set of wheels try looking for Pegasus Torque 2s. thats about as good of a cool looking wheels as you can get for that truck
