Tamiya Primer

Which primer would you suggest out of these two?

I'll be spraying Pearl White for my color.

Sorry for my inexperience, this will be my first time using Tamiya paint. I've delt with Testors and sometimes Krylon only, but Ive heard good things about Tamiya.

White primer under white paint.

If you're doing any body work or serious filling, get the grey as it will help show up any imperfections, then once they're taken care of, hit it with white primer prior to spraying the pearl white.

Yes I did read that post, but it didnt really have any specifics on the paint. I havent worked with Tamiya before and they had two different primers so I was just asking which would be better. But I do think I'll go with both so I can makee sure I have a straight body.

I'm inclined to agree but DM does have a point.

It is equally courteous to take the time and effort to do research to your question before making posts asking for help - particularly in the case of relatively simple questions where (as you well know) it is deadly easy to find the answers.

Not doing that is tantamount to expecting someone else to do your work for you and that, in it's own way, is equally rude IMHO.

There was a thread a few lines down dealing with exactly the same issue. The final words in Alex's tutorial that DM linked to give exactly the answer to the question.

One thing in Team_MPH's defense is the curious description that Hobbylinc provide for the Tamiya White Primer...

The primer without the "Fine" is a rough primer, good for filling deep scratches and such.
The "fine" primer on the other hand is the erm.. base coat for your base coat, if that makes sense at all.
