Alternator Drive Belt

I start my car it keeps stalling. We had our drive belt replaced recently. Could that be the problem.

Moppie, get back in your cage

Which belt was it, the accessory belt, or the timing belt?

It's the drive belt r&r attached to the alternator. I am not a mechanic, when I let my foot of the gas the car stalls.

I was told on another sight, if I sprayed the belt with water, it would dry and shrink because it is like leather. I did it and it is not stalling know. It is a 2000 Ford Taurus.
