Talking Almost Another Good Race

I WAS OUT FRIDAY NIGHT JUST CRUSING THE HIGHWAY LOOKING FOR A RACE. WENT A COUPLE MILES AND DECIDED TO TURN AROUND A HEAD HOME. JUST AS I WAS ALMOST TO MY EXIT A CRX COMES FLYING ON THE HWY. I SPED UP PAST HIM, THE HE CAUST UP WITH ME. WE DID THE CUSTOMARY GLANCE AND WE TOOK OFF. WE'RE GOING ABOUT 100MPH BUT WE HAD TO SLOW DOWN DUE TO A CURVE THAT SNUK UP ON US. IT WAS PRETTY COOL SINCE I'M RUNNUNG A BONE STOK 70HP '90 HB CIVIC. WELL A LITTLE WAS UP THE HWY A MR-2 TURBO COMES FLY UP BESIDE ME WHILE THE CRX AND I ARE CRUSING. WAS ABOUT TO BE A 3 CAR RACE UNTIL A STATE TROOPER PULLED OFF FROM THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND GOT IN FRONT OF US. THE RACE WAS RUINED, SO WE ALL WENT OUR SEPARATE WAYS.

GETTING A PART TIME JOB SO THAT I CAN GET A B18C-R WTH A JACKSON SUPERCHARGER @ 12PSI. THOUGHT ABOUT A K20A BUT FROM THE PEOPLE THAT I ASKED, THEY SAID THAT IT WAS HARD AND EXPENSIVE....BUT SOMEONE SELLING A K20A ON EBAY SAID THEY PUT ONE IN A CRX, MABEY THEY WERE JUST TRYING TO SELL THE ENGINE TO 4THG'S. BUT IT'S ONLY 10 HP MORE THAN THE B18C-R. FOR ONLY A SECOND I THOUGHT ABOUT A B16 BUT PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS GETTING B16'S AND DRESSING THEM UP IN TYPE-R PARTS, WHY NOT JUST SAVE UP AND GET THE REAL THING

It cracks me up how people think they talk the police into stuff. they have heard it all, no new info is going to change an already made up mind. You got lucky the cop was lazy and didnt feel like writing up an arrest report and having to transport you to the jail and have you booked in. just my 2cents.

B18c' are a super pain to find and very expensive. I actually belive it would be cheaper and easier to get a k20 or an h22

THE POLICE CAR WAS ABOUT 5 CAR LENGTHS IN FRONT OF US WHEN HE GOT ON, SO I GUESS IF HE WAS PAYING ATTENTION HE COULD HAVE GOT US, MABEY.

THE B18C ISN'T QUITE THAT HARD TO FIND, JUST THAT A WHOLE LOT OF PEOPLE WANT IT, THAT'S THE PROBLEM. ABOUT THE K20A, I DON'T THINK THAT'S BE WORTH THE MONEY BECAUSE THE TRANSMISSION IS ON THE OTHER SIDE AND YOU HAVE TO PUT THE ENGINE INFROM BELOW INSTEAD OF FROM THE TOP.
