Nice cars, good race, almost car jacked? LONG STORY.....

Well Saturday night I went to get some free shit from my friends work(Texaco). Usually alot of cars meet up here at about 11:30 or so to head out to the illegals or cruise. Last time I came there was a twin turboed 97 supra converted to a single, 1 evo8, 1 wrx, and afew tegs. The supra asked me if I wanted to run( sence he herd my vented BOV coming into the texaco. I replied nahh, im not that fast, still using the t25. He was like "yeah got to get rid of that. Anyhow when I got there no cars were there. So I decide to grab a cup of hot chocolate and head out to the spots to see where everyone was at. I actually had to tell my gfriend that my friend needed afew dollars and a pep talk about finances or I wouldent have been able to get out. Well I hit up the first spot and the first thing I notice is a cop car sitting in the parking lot(Im saying ok dosent look good). I head over to the next spot where I know If its empty so are the races tonight. On the way down a 97 ish looking mustang gt convertible is weaving in and out of traffic. Then comes a red light and hes to the left and I pass a car and get to his right. Well at the red light my windows up (limo tent) his passenger window half way down( mexican driver) looking HARD at my car. He gives alittle spin out of the tires, and I put the car in reverse to give myself alittle take off room. Im about 3/4's of a car behind him. Light turns yellow. I set the rpms to 2.5k. and start to creep forward at the red. Light GREEN, mustang tires spinning, spydergst( slipping clutch until tires grab. Mustang is half car ahead(tires still spinning) Me I catch traction and let the clutch out at 3k rpms. 1st gear mustang is 3/4th car ahead, 5000rpms come fast I shift into 2nd. Well from this point I pull and pulll and pull till 3rd gear comes(im 1 car ahead) 60 mph or so. shift to 3rd and I pull some more till hes noticeable far behind at 80 mph. I break for the next light thats turning yellow about 1/4 mile ahead and begin to roll down my window. I think he sees this and gets behind me. I get into the left lane and he instantly turns right. Ok 1 down, clutch in ok condition for next possible race. I get to the next spot about 1 more light down and only 2 cars there. A old 90's hatch and a 90's civic. Each having about 2 to 4 people in each. So im like NO COMP HERE. I pull in give alittle ventage of the BOV while everyone in both cars stare hard ( gotta love that sound). Well at this time I say Id better be getting back to the house or id be getting no ass. So last hope of the night I head down to the cruise spot where all the club goers go after the club gets out. Its about 1 pm at this time( I might be skipping the pep talk and texaco meet because its, well just not important). I head into the jack in the box parking lot( which is swarmed by cars, suv's, females, mexicans and more mexicans( on the west side of my town its 60% mexican, 30% black and 10% other. I dont notice anyone I know. Lots of stock cars with big rims, along with a tight escallade ext with 22's. My car being the spot light as I pull in. If youve never seen a pic of my car, pics down atm due to server errors( my car is fully blitzed with a Viper Red paint job 1 month old, 5 month old black convertible top, Limo Tent windows, with 18 inch chrome alba wolverines. Mods are stock t25 at 16 psi daily, 3 inch down pipe, 2 1/2 cat back,turbo xs dual stage boost controller, k&N intake, greddy upper and lower I/C piping along with a greddy type S BOV, 255 walbro, with dealership wires and NGK's. I head out, taking 1 last look at 4 females in another convertible newer mustang standing up dancing to the loud music playing from the escallade( Damn that was some fine ass I left. Im back on the road again heading towards the freeway home. Untill I notice a car behind me making every turn I make. I get into the far left lane and so does the car behind me. I get into the far right lane and so does he. Well at this point im at a red light and taking alook in my rear view to see the person who seems to be following me. Its a mexican with a benie, and a passenger I couldent see. I take alook at the car and could tell its some sort of early 90's, white car. The front bumper is mashed in abit and thats all I could see. Well I make a right at the next light and so does he. Well at this time I know hes following me so I mash the pedal up to 80 mph and swtich lanes to the far left again. Hes WAAAAAAY back there so i let up and just cruise. Untill I notice he is getting closer and gets RIGHT BEHIND ME AGAIN. So at this point I try to let him know that I know hes following me. I change lanes into the middle lane. He instantly follows. Then I immediatly get right back into the left lane. Then with a sudden relief he gets into the right lane and makes a right. Im like damn, that guy was probably trying to jack me. Adrinaline totally rushing at this point I speedly head home. Telling myself, im never going out without my boys. Maybie if I were to have someone with me they wouldnt have followed me. I was thinking to myself all the possible routes I could have taken to get outta this. Best one would have to called the police or head back to the spot where that cop was sitting. Or take him on a highway run at 130 mph and see if hes that intrested in my car then. Im starting to think over the whole process that got me into this situation. Next time im heading out with friends or staying my butt at home.

dude that sux, i woulda followed that goof and an beat tha hell outta him, or at least found where abouts he was going and made him know how it feels to be followed, and ya good idea, always go out with friends, more ppl, less attention or less chance of ur ride being jacked

that does suck. At least you came outta that with your car and your life. Being careful is a good idea. If anyone would try to jack my car, I would let them "steal" it but I would have to "steal" about $6000 from them.

maybe he just wanted to check out ur ride and hear your bov...kinda reminds me of that one saturn commercial when the guy and girl are at a gas station and open the back "suicide" door, and they are nervously watching these gangster lookin guys that are looking at them...then the one comes over and is like "dude...how diid you trick the door like that?"

lol well its good to play it safe anyways....i kno its nothing for some cheap-ass jerk to jack someone elses ride cuz he is too cheap to get his own and hook it up himself.

my friend and I were racing around in my car and we kept beating this guy in an old monte carlo that kept coming back and losing to us....after that he kept following us around...and when we blew away from him to lose him, he eventually caught up and his half-ass friend started yelling obcenities and threw a full water bottle at my car and then he ran off. that doesnt really have to do with stealing cars but it tells you that people think highly of their ride and when they are showed up by a little 4bangin 2.0 car, they get pretty mad. yea....better safe than sorry, unless u can lead them to your friend's houses and then surround the assholes...

Didnt you say that this was at 12 or like 1 in the morning. Now when a car behind you has his lights on....which he should...how the phuck could you possibly see the person driving the car.....exactly, you can't.....

It was at a stop light and his front window was as clear as day to see thru especially with my brake lights on. It was in a well light street light. So I could even tell he had a benie. Why were you following me? feeling guilty?

Some guy was driving in front of me on one of the good old connecticut roads. He pulled over to the side of the road and I passed him. Once I passed him he pulled out and started to follow me. I wasn't in the mood of being followed so I sped up and started to drive around 80 around all of the turns. He barely kept up. Then on the first straight away I just took off when I saw him in my mirror. I hit about 115 and I didn't see him in my mirror then I stopped at a traffic light. He pulled up next to me and said my car was nice. He was in a Nissan Maxima. Sometimes they just want to see what your car could do.

ducky's got a point, although this seems not to be the case in this particular situation, following you for a while, etc... even i've "followed" another car for a bit to check it out, most recently i spotted a "louie viutton" badged mercedes s-500 (how sic is that!!), the guy was probly like "that guy wants to jack me!!" but i just wanted to see the interior better!!!

I lived in woonsocket for 2 years until a recent move to Worcester MA area. I lived in Cumberland a while back too... I liked it there. Thats when I had the rx7... Memories.
