4.1-liter HT4100 rear main seal

Hi-I'm trying to put this HT4100 back together and I cant figure out the rear main seal. I bought a gasket kit and all they gave me was a round spring-type seal for the crank flange. But the rear bearing frame has those two grooves on the sides and there isnt a separate rear housing for the round seal. Am I supposed to just use silicone in those side grooves or am I missing a two-piece seal?? And am I supposed to just put the one-piece seal over the end of the crank (there is a goove for it at the rear bottom of the block and bearing cap but no separate housing)?? Thanks for any info
