1997 electrical connector in trunk

I haven't been able to find what this connector looking thing is. It is gold colored and on the left side of the spare. I have looked in the service manual but I don't see it. Anyone know?

Re: 1997 electrical connector in trunk

I only get to see the car for a few hours every other weekend. I will look at it probably next weekend.

Nope! Sorry no cigar.

That connector and wiring harness goes to the vent solenoid at the evaporative emissions charcoal cannister located by the gas tank fuel filler neck under the driver's side rear quarter panel.

Is this due to a divorce agreement, and is it supervised visitation?

Re: 1997 electrical connector in trunk

Thanks BNaylor. I'll take a look when I get the chance.

richtazz - My son is currently using it to get back and forth to college. Even when he is home he is rarely at the house. But he expects me to keep it in tip top shape. Makes me think of the old Harry Chapin song "Cats in the Cradle".
