95 classic. i dont know wats wrong

I just bought a 95 caprice classic with the 4.3. it has 24k originall. so it sat for a long time(a old person had it. it shifts fine but when im driving and press on on the gas it it takes a while to kick in but it still accelerates slowly and when i stop the car i hear a click in the rear. any idea wat it might be.

Are you trying to run it on old gas ? Have you done a tune-up ?

In addition to the suggestion for a fresh load of fuel, testing fuel pressure might be a good start.
