I have the 16-valve 1.5 with dpfi and I am getting all the parts to do an intake swap. My question is this. When I switch ECU's does it matter that they came from a car with 5-speed manual tans. and I have a 4-speed manual?

No difference when you have a 4 or 5 spd manual. The difference is between the auto and manual transmissions. The ecu will matter when doing an auto to manual swap or vice versa. The auto ecus look for the automatic lockup solenoid which none of the manual transmissions have. Therefore if you use an auto ecu it will throw an error code.

Thanks! That is kind of what I thought since the manual trans. does not seem to have sensors running from it. Awesome news
