Some Help for the New Guy

Hey guys whats up. As you can see this is my first post here. I'm looking into buying an integra in the next few months but thats not what I need help with at the moment. This quarter for my english class I have to do an evaluation essay on anything I want. Since I was already thinking about buying a Integra I figured I should do some research on one before buying one. I'm interested in buying a 94-95 Integra but should I write my paper on that or do you think it would be easier to do on say a 2002 or 2003? Can you guys help me out with some links of reviews or specs maybe your own personal opinions on how the car drives. Any help is greatly appreciated

there are going to be a lot of reviews and information about either year of integra. there will probably be more information about the earlier 94-95 integras, simply because they have been around longer. just search around on the internet for reviews by car mags, and different ways they try to mod them.

Cool, thanks. What about your guys personal opinion on it becuase I can use that stuff also. I guess I'll go with a 95 LS to write this paper on because that is what I will likely be getting in the next few months.

My mom has a 99 LS Sedan. I love it, its nice and refined and comfortable with just a touch of sportyness. It's really fun to drive after you get out of my car. The suspension is slightly soft (but then again look at the projected clientel), and the shifter is like a row boat but all in all I love the car. I don't know if I would have made the same purchase, but I can't blame my 50 year old mother for doing it, it could be a lot worse (Volvo, Saab?).

Yeah I was prolly gonna get a 95 LS because that is what is in my price range right now. I would love to get a GSR though. And yes the name does rock:ylsuper :ylsuper

How about this advice. Here are some supporting arguments as to why you should buy an integ:

1.) I dont want to support a major artery of american business.

2.) I like integras because they go as fast as a Z24 and they only cost about 5 or 6 grand more.

3.) I like cars that get rust spots on them (especially on lower part of back wheelwell) after only 6 years or so.

4.) I want everyone to think i'm cool (will hide my closet homosexuality) because I'll drive a car with the acura name.

5.) I want a car that I can spend a truckload of money on when it breaks.

First of all, it's phrase, not frase. If you are going to attempt to insult me, at least do it properly. Secondly, the term "gay ass" was yours to begin with. Just check the previous posts on that other thread. You don't really stike me as someone who has a lot of money either. Judging by your comments/command of the english language, I'd guess that you do something like work at Wal-Mart full-time. Probably lucky if you made it out of high school. Unless you won the lottery or mommy and daddy are paying for your faggot integra, I'm going to guess that you aren't that wealthy. Not that owning any integ is a big expense, after all they don't make them anymore, so the best you could do is used. Not that I couldn't buy one either. I just don't want to get hosed (probably like you did or will) and pay 6 grand more for a car that has nothing more to offer in terms of speed or looks. I think that the RSX is a good looking car, but integras look like an ass with teeth. PS, let me know when you get that 95 LS. I guarantee that unless you sink a few grand into it, that you WILL NOT beat any Z24 that is a 1990 or newer. The 3.1 MPFI V6 (1990-1994) will crush you and the 2.4 twin cam (1995-Present) will crush you even harder. Good luck you queer, you'll need it.

You know I did look over the post you were refering to and i did not once say "gay-ass" I said big ass and gay car but never once gay ass. And when did a mechanic become a fucking english teacher. could we please put the arguing to an end.. there is no need to fight about chevy vs acura.. they are 2 completely diff cars.. and if your childish enough to actually care what the other guy thinks.. well then you don't even deserve to won the car your in ... no matter what it is..
let's be a little grown up here. the only thing anyone fights about in this room is tegs vs z24.. (side point - why do you only compare the z24, not the other models of cavs? you've compared it to an ls, and a gsr, they both come with a nice 4cyl.. ) so anyway i think the z24 issue has been killed by now.. and i'd rather hear some interesting conversation ...if you two really need prove.. meet up and race.. then you can end your problems..

well as for the z-24 vs the integra...i happen to own both and yes my integra will walk the z-24..... and if you really wanna get technical... if you go top end the z will lose because at 108 mph the z shuts down while my integra (oh yea 91 LS ) keeps on going. the Zi s the wifes car with i/e and some other things...but my LS puts it in the rear view all the time.

But that not what we're talking about if you want to buy a integra...the best way to find out what you want is to drive it yourself... i got a LS . was cheap and wasn't really on the VTEC bandwagon. but it depends on what you can AFFORD. thats the biggest factor.
