Motor

The B18a1 comes from 90-93 Integras. You'll need to get a motor mount kit or if you can weld than i would make your own, you'll obvisously need the tranny for the B18a, axels, ECU, wire harness would be plus, you can make your shift linkage fit (needs cut + welded). A pretty easy straight forward swap. You'll also need to have your exhaust redone to match the flange on the B18a header.

what about a JDM B16A? I found one for $650 that comes with a tranny. Im planning on doing a ZC swap real soon but is this a great deal or would i really need to make a lot of modifications?

motor

The RS/LS/GS all have the B18a1. The only car that didn't get a B18a1 in the Integras in 90-93 was the GSR which got a B17. Rare motor and the cranks are worth a ton now days.

if your talking about an ls vtec, i think youll run mid 14s. but if your not gonna build your block, i would suggest not revving past 7000. if you do rev it past 7000 and all the way up to 8000, then i say you got amonth before you blow up your ls

You should be in the 14s with a LS/VTEC? Is that just the engine being swapped in, nothing else done to it? Just wondering because I'm thinking about the LS/VTEC.

Also, wouldn't it just make since to rebuild the engine, since you are going to have to take it apart.
