Please read and respond. I need answers now! (please)
I have some problems... please respond.
I recently purchased a 2002 impreza wrx. In normal (75 degree) weather, during normal driving, I sometimes catch a whif of "a sort of burnt gas smell." Any ideas what happened? The car has 93,000mi. The driver's window doesn't close straight up, and sometimes, the topmost corner gets caught on the black plastic above the door and prevents a completely closed door. Maybe the links inside of the door are bent? For security reasons it makes me very nervous because even when put perfectly in place, the window sits lopsided and doesn't seal well with the rubber behind it. Also (it didn't happen during a test-drive) one of the rear brakes is too close to a rotor and causes a disheartening squeak at slow (lower than 20mph). It's really embarrasing, and I know it's not good for the brakes at all. What should I do? Thanks in advance. |

Was the car purchased with a warranty of any kind? Is it burnt gas or oil?

Did you get a Carfax report on the car.
Sounds like it has accident damage from a side impact.
