Unhappy My Spark Plugs drowned today...

Today at school I was cruising the auto building seeing if any sweet cars were around. I found a yellow ITR with the exact same rims I have, and there was a 5G Hatch with black rims and polished lip. Other than that was rice. So as I tried to leave I cranked the car and it started then died. It did this the other day but I thought it was water in the distributor cap or something. Apparently not. So first thing I did was check the plugs. They were all still in. So I pull the plugs from the head one by one. Almost all of the plug cylinders was filled with oil and some of the spark plugs were drowned in oil. So I was like ****. So using only paper towels from my trunk I managed to soak up all the oil then clean the cylinder walls and the plug tips. So after 3 cranks it started and I was able to drive it home. I got my Dad to drive me to Honda and I got new OEM NKG Spark Plugs and new Seals. I put them in and it started a little after that. TONS of smoke poured out from the oil I guess leaked down into the cylinder. It drove fine after that. However the next time I started it it wouldn't start until 2nd try. Hopefully it will all burn off that oil and it will be fine. But thats weak sauce...

yikes! update? how is it firing now? i found oil on the plugs in my a6. replaced the seals and the head gasket. when the head was off could see #1 cylinder wall was grooved. a6 is now in LX. pulled the plugs and found oil. pretty much it's gonna need to be bore out and bigger pistons....or junk it. moral of the story? i don't want to scare you but oil could be getting past your rings. how many miles does the engine have?

r there seals that go around the spark plugs on the valve cover? I did a little maintenance on my wifes Accord & noticed that 2 of the plugs I pulled had oil in the hole of the valve cover. Do I need to replace the valve cover gasket or what?

Yes there are 4 seals, one for each plug. They attach to the underside of the valve cover so unless you looked under there you might have not noticed them.
