anyway, bock on topic. this is something I have been menaing to breing up for a little while but always seem to forget once I am able to connect. Basically, what are the things we, the users, can do to help the server situation. Will clicking more banner ads help (I try to click them any time I can remember). Mabey donating money, or mabey even donating old computers to help share the server duties. Hopefully somebody out there can give me some answers because I am willing to do quite a bit to help keep this site up a running like it was when I first joined.

The only reason the server is being like this, is the owner does not have the time right now. He also does not allow any mods to help him out in any way.

Please, email all your frustrations to igor at automotiveforums.com

Email him telling him how much it pisses you off. Do this every time you get a server busy message.

Well, if he doesn't have the time to take care of the situation, or care to his servers. mabey he should pass on the duties to someone else. I don't know how this site is structured but if it could be served from multiple locations that could be an idea. I know I would donate my comp for such a purpose (in hopes for faster connect times and no more server busy messages)

hahah...wow...Snowie got beat up by the server! let's steal his derelict pickup! bua ha ha ha....
The server is like the glass between you and the ferrarri sitting at the dealership with the sign that says "test drive me now"

For those of you that have been awake to long and are lacking in the required amount of brainpower to understand this analogy, Ferrarri=AF Glass=slow server and ME=ME
