intake swap questions

ok, i want to make my dpfi to mpfi and was wondering who has done this and what did you follow. i am just wondering if the diy on 4thgen is a good set of instructions to follow. any help or tips is greatley appreciated. oh, and please if all you are goign to do is tell me this is a waste of time or that i should do an entir engine swap please don't bother posting. thanks.

I actually just bought the DX to SiR wiring from Hasport when I did my swap. There's good information on this site, 4thgenerationcivic.com , on how to do the DPFI to MPFI swap. Check it out and let us know if you have any other Q's...Good luck

actually the one thing i am confused on is this....at first i thought that i did not need a new ecu or distributor but now it looks like i need one?

you have to use an ECU and distributor off a car that came with MPFI stock. I recommend the Integra 1st gen pg7 ecu. it has a higher rev limiter and more aggressive fuel curve. Use the dizzy off either an HF or Si

also, does it matter that the pg7 or the pm6 is for a 5 speed manual and mine is a 4 speed? thanks!
