This is what happens when you drag your exhaust for 40 miles...

So on my way to school Tuesday I think it was this bastard once again slipped out of the clamp and fell off. It was dragging so the open part that fell was towards the front, which is the worst since it is going to take a hell of a beating. Well by the time I got home the end of that day I was going to put it back on. But as you can see the pavement ground a hole into it, and the awesome crush bent part of the pipe (it comes stock like that) caved in and destroyed itself. The reason it fell off was the genius kid who owned it before me (I think) cut out the resonator and put over a straight pipe, or maybe he cut it out to extend it because it was too short. Well that was his 2nd mistake (after purchasing a Monza/Pacesetter exhaust in the first place) so then it slipped out eventually and wouldn't stay in. So for several days now I have been running basically open headers. However the UPS man brought me this today...

The HKS is aluminized steel. From the looks of it it's also powercoated an anthracite color. It matchs my rims!

I put it on in the pouring rain this morning because I'm tired of a stupid loud car and I have to work all this weekend so I have no other time to do it...

I must say it's fucking awesome. The exhaust is very quiet so you can hear the engine more and hear the sucking of air from the intake so it sounds really cool. It drives sooooo smooth now to.
