Does anyone have any ideas how I can get paint out of a spray can where all the propellant has been drained? Its a weird pearlescent colour that I need to do a project that I can no longer get. Any help appreciated

Re: Spray can with no propellant
Try making a hole in the can, than the paint will probably leak out through that hole if you get it in the right position.

Re: Spray can with no propellant
are you SURE it's out of propellant? or is it just clogged? be EXTREMELY cautious about puncturing a can of spray paint, it can get mighty messy, and toxic REALLY quick.

Re: Spray can with no propellant
yup its out of gas. Didn't want to puncture it so was wondering is there any way to bleed it through the nozzle

Re: Spray can with no propellant
try squeezing the can while holding the nozzle in. other than that, I'd say drill a hole. if there is no propellant, then it should be safe to tamper with. however it may be that the paint has dried in the pick up tube, not letting anything out.
