Old School Skyline 2000 GT-X

This one's based on the recent Aoshima release from their "Shakotan Boogie" series based on the manga comic. It's a pretty old ex-motorised kit with a distinct lack of chrome parts (i.e. none) and some fairly interesting methods of construction for the interior - the dash & door panels glue to the body!but it was a fun build and something different.

Thanks for looking
Andy

Followed the build and love the result Andy. I have never been into Japanese cars, especially ones that are older. This is very nice though, I like to know that this is what was burning up the streets back then when we were using 502CI big blocks for fun. Great job.

It is indeed - I bent the metal axle upwards slightly.
Cheers

Very very nice, I was waiting for this kit to be completed. Excellent job in and out. I know what you mean about the "interesting" interior construction. LOL

Re: Old School Skyline 2000 GT-X

I was going to ask about the camber but I figure that is for drifting, eh? Not a big fan of the wheels but the car looks pretty cool. I especially like the rear view. Nice work, especially dealing with an old kit.
