my friend put a jdm b16a2 in his 92 sedan. it cost him $3500, but he got the lsd tranny. by the way he let me drive his car and its fucking sweet. he still has the ac in his car, so it can be done. i think you just need to get an ac adapter bracket, but i dont know for sure, theres some way to keep your ac.

if you want to keep the obd 1 system, you need to get either the jdm b16a2, 170hp or get the usdm b16a3, 160hp. the a3 came in the delsol vtecs. but since you said you wanna swap in a jdm b16a, you need to get the jdm b16a2. if you car has vtec already, you never said what model you have, and you dont want the lsd, if you have the extra money i would advise to get the lsd, then it should only cost about $3000

take your stock engine car to a shop tell them you want a jdm b16a2 come back like 4 days later, pay the $3000. leave with your new jdm b16a2 del sol.

but you need to go to the shop and ask them how much they charge, because every place prices are different, it should be around $3000, that includes the engine price and installation. i think you will need to go ask them and make an appointment because they might have to go buy the engine so you should tell them about 2 weeks before you wnat it done because they have to buy it and then it takes shipping time. once they get the motor, you bring your car in and if there not busy they can do it in 2 days.

an lsd is a limited slip differential. it makes it so both your wheels spin not just one. like idk if you ever burned out in your car, have you ever noticed one tire is spinning and the other tire is just sitting there doing nothing. well an lsd will make it so both tires spin not just one. its more of a racer thing so if your not really a racer then you dont really need it
