Custom Skyline R34

Ok here are a few pics of the complete R34, I didn't realize that I hadn't put the side view mirrors on, so in a few pics there aren't any mirrors lol

Let me know what you guys think of it!!!

Re: Custom Skyline R34

The front sort of has an Evolution-ish look to it. Looks pretty good! I think the thing I like the most is the little vent in front of the rear wheels. The front does look like it could use maybe a c/f lip or spoiler. Great job!!

Re: Custom Skyline R34

great body work, but the front end has WAY to much open space. I guess that's a good thing for the intercooler though. The flakes in the paint are way out of scale but would look great on a bass boat! haha, don't take it harshly, the car looks great. The color is perfect, and the interior color accents it well.

Re: Custom Skyline R34

i agree, the front has too many design cue's from a mitsubishi evolution, however i love the hood and rear sideskirt scoops

Re: Custom Skyline R34

I like the concept of originality on this one. The front reminds me of a Porsche Cayenne with bit of Shelby Mustang as far as the hood is concerned. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of a realistic separation line regarding the front bumper/fender connection. It's a truly terrific model though!

Re: Custom Skyline R34

I was just trying to give the Skyline the aggressive look it deserves! lol Everyone seemed to love the aggressive/open look in the WIP. It seems that you guys liked the side skirts/vent, but what about the rear bumper?

I was actually thinking of adding a front lip and rear diffuser to it. I was also going to add a little carbon fiber to the rear spoiler, I'll have to order some.

And I did forget to scribe the panel lines on the front bumper after I had blended it into the fender.

Thanks for the C & C

Re: Custom Skyline R34

You did such a great job modifying the rear bumper that it slipped right past me! Great job on the whole thing!!

Re: Custom Skyline R34

Yeah, the back looks great. It is much more subtle than the front. I think a diffuser and lip will help balance everything out and add so much to the great work you've already done.

Re: Custom Skyline R34

The front really does remind me of Lancer Evo. I also agree with everyone else that the fron needs lip to complete it. Besides that, great job!! I really like the back and the side a lot.

Re: Custom Skyline R34

I really like the rear and sides. The vent on the side looks perfect, like its meant to be there. On the front its a little over done in my opinion and apart from the missing panel line on the hood its a bad ass skyline.

Im wondering where you get your material for your front grill screens???

The hood is off of a Mustang and the mesh is from the Skyline kit.
