'87 Camaro running rich
This thing is running rich and blackening the inside of the throttle body and intake. Its started with running rough but no codes are coming up. Can smell raw gas out the back. I cleaned the MAF, and took the throttle body apart and cleaned it out and within an hour of driving it was the same, it run better when cleaned but didn't last long. It still had a miss to it though. Which sensor is giving me grief? Strange that no codes would come up.
A separate problem is the shifting, its a 5 speed and shifts up fine but doesn't want to downshift into second until you almost stop Any Ideas? Thank you |

Re: '87 Camaro running rich
Not strange at all, my check eninge light never came on when my o2 'magically' got disconnected.
When was the last utne up? Otherwise I'd say it could be a bad coolant temp sensor. |
