Question GReddy, Stillen, Apexi?

Out of the GReddy, Stillen, and APexi Exhausts which one is the loudest and which one is the quietest. And also what kind of sound does each produce. I want to get an exhaust but Im not sure what type of sound or look I want yet, any help would be appreciated.:sun:

im going to say loudest - to quietest it goes.....
Stillen (loudest) Greddy (Middle) Apex'i (quietest)
I like my greddy SP, though people used to say it was really loud. It doesn't seems to be however Im sure with a Y-pipe any of the above would be pretty loud, but I think a stillen setup is still going to take the annoying cake.

Have you heard a Stillen unit in person to know its the loudest or is that just a guess, and could you please give a description of how each sounds.

Thanks:sun:

I have no clue how the stillen sounds really, Im just going by what others from the org said on that one. The greddy has a nice deep tone at idle but not loud at all,its pretty loud and deep under 3K rpm almost to the point where it rattles the car a bit, however about that I can't really tell as my CAI is loud and kinda drowns out the exhaust noise. The apex'i is about the same as the greddy sept its got more a ricey rumble to it. you would think the apex'i would be louder since its a huge mouth on the muffler compared to the greddy at least at a side by side comparison.. It would really depend on what you were looking for. I have never heard the greddy sp on a maxima anywhere but from the driver seat. People have told me its pretty loud but I can't tell when im on the go its a muffled deep tone. hehe

I personally have a stillin exaust on my 95 max, and it drones a little around 2000 to 2500 rpms, after that its all intake baby!!!!! I've never heard my car from the outside because i never let anyone push my ride while I'm not in it, but some people say it sounds tight... I've heard a Greddy on my friends 97 se and it really sounds deep but not menacing. Once again I only heard the exaust in the 2000 to 2500 rpm... after that it gets quiet.

I have to retract my previous statement about not hearing a greddy sp outside of my car. A guy that works at a local performance shop used to own a 99se, he had a greddy SP,rt cat, and a cattman Y, and he car was badass sounding and I could hear it from all the way down the street about a 1/4 mile, when he got in front of my house is was insane, however these were low speeds so low rpms, above 3K im still clueless, but when I heard it in person thats hwne i decided I wanted one heh

i can send it to your email. it's only 10 seconds long and it's a quick time so you'll need a quicktime player. It's taken from inside the car and you mostly hear the intake, but it just goes to show how quiet the stillen cat-back can be
